The major Styles

1.) Dvaravati Styles ( 6th to 11th Century AD)

The Dvaravati styles was based on the prototype of india's Gupta Age -
a beautiful, radient, slim figure - but the sculptor added heavy, sinuos Mon feature.
Most larger images were made in stone, and smaller ones in bronze.

2.) Srivijaya Style (8th to 13 th Century AD)

Originating in the peninsular Thai region of the South, this style emphasises the
senuose forms of the Srivijaya aesthetics. Images resemble the Buddhist and
Hindu sculpture found in Central Java, Indonesia. Mainly in bronze, they were
highly decorated and ornate.
